Recommended Storage Conditions:
When possible, store inventory colour ribbons in a controlled atmosphere of between 65 - 75 degrees Fahrenheit and a relative humidity of not more than 65%. Cool, dry conditions are best when controlled atmosphere is not available. Avoid storing colour ribbons in direct sunlight, near open windows, near heat, or conditions of dampness. Colour ribbons should not be allowed to become physically wet. Each colour ribbon should be stored in its individual package.
Shelf Life:
The colour ribbons shelf life is directly related to the storage conditions. The shelf life is usually 12 months.
- Designed to be used on a colour graphics printer, where a plastic card is passed under a thermal head which will use dye sublimation transfer printing technology to produce a colour picture image on the plastic card as it is moved through the colour graphics printer module.
